What you’ll learn
The core curriculum meets the CA EMSA requirement for Childcare Providers. Students will learn how to identify and respond to medical and traumatic emergencies such as allergic reaction, asthma attack, diabetic emergency, bleeding control, spinal injury, broken bones, and more. The course also covers resuscitation using CPR and an AED for Pediatrics.
Intended for: Daycare Providers, Preschool Personnel, and others who may be required by an employer or provide care and supervision for infants and children.
Not Intended for: Medical or healthcare professionals
Note – Childcare providers who need EMSA certification must take EMSA Childcare Provider CPR/AED and First Aid
